Apart from its cheap mass produce self assemble furniture, IKEA is also well known for its little food court like restaurant, where one could experience fine Swedish cuisine. Just like its furniture, the food served also comes at fantastic prices.
One of its famous dish would be the Swedish meatballs. Meatballs served with fries, thick brown gravy and jam. The is the only place I know where you can get such dish.

The dish might be called ‘Swedish Meatball’, but the star ingredient that makes you wanting for more, is the thick creamy brown gravy.
The gravy even taste good with other non-meatball food.
The 15 pieces meatball meal will set you back RM13.55 while the set which comes with a soft drink is RM14.60.
Next time when you are doing some furniture shopping at IKEA, don’t forget to try out the meatballs. It’s very pack during the weekend, but if you walk around long enough and do a really good sad puppy face, eventually you will get a table.

Me and my friends went to Ikea restaurant several times before. We ordered poach salmon and fish and chips but we noticed the food portion are smalled compare to other customers(especially Malay customers). We did complained to the manager and the headquaters in Sweden but there is no improvement at all.
In a separate occasion ,I ordered the breakfast set that comes with free coffee. When I was about to pay at the cashier counter, the staff charged me extra because it was 1 minute past 9.30am. Few minutes later I saw her taking a coffee cup straight from the shelf and give it to her friends without paying first. The staff is female, short, fat, fair skin, wear scarf, and always wear thick make-up.
